Tufts University is a private institution that was founded in 1852. Tufts University is located in Medford, Massachusetts, not far from downtown Boston. Yefim Massarsky worked on a master plan and conceptual design of the Art Gallery building. The Tufts University Art Gallery animates the intellectual life of the greater university community through exhibitions and programs exploring new, global perspectives on art and on art discourse. Tufts’ permanent art collection features works by Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol and John Singer Sargent.
